Question about Notre Dame Gen-Ed classes?

Hi, I have a question about the structure of the bigger, intro level classes. Notre Dame was the first school I ever toured with a tour guide, and I did not take very detailed notes about the college on my tour. One of the things the tour guide mentioned was that big classes were separated into small discussion-based groups weekly to help students understand the material better. I wasn’t sure if I was just confusing it with another school, so I looked it up. I only found that the Moreau classes did it. Does anyone know if the other intro classes do that too? (it’s a specific question, but I would like to include it in the why do you want to go to notre dame in the future essay and I want to make sure it’s true)

also, to those who always look at the profiles of posters, yes, I am still a junior but I want to start writing some supplements now that never change since I just toured the colleges recently

Moreau is just a small group that meets once a week there is no big class for that one. However the bigger intro level classes like Gen Chem, Intro to Philo and Calc are split into large lectures and small tutorials (discussion-groups) that meet once a week

Hope that helps!
