Question about Priority Deadline

If this has already been answered, sorry. I browsed the forums and didn't find anything.

I got rejected outright from UMD-CP and I applied by their Priority Deadline (Nov 1). Their letter of rejection just came today. And my question is, was that a rejection for good, or was that a rejection for the priority deadline? Are they still deliberating my application for regular decision? I doubt this, but still, it's a glimmer of a chance.

And could someone point out to me a list of rolling admissions schools? And also, any help/info on going to another school for a semester or two, getting good grades, then transferring into UMD would be a great help.

Thanks gang

I’m almost positive it’s a definite rejection, but you’ve got nothing to lose if you want to call and ask anyway.

Two rolling admissions schools that come to mind are Indiana University and University of Pittsburgh, which are both great scools. Penn State also may be rolling.

If you live in Maryland you may also want to consider Montgomery College. Although it’s a community college, it is highly regarded and a pretty cheap way to get those core requirements and such out of the way.

Good luck!
