I applied to Penn State in early April and was accepted on the 15th. I accepted my offer April 29th and took the Aleks placement exam soon after that. Thus far, I have only received my official acceptance letter & a packet trying to sell me “cheap” linens. The other school that I had originally committed to before I had a change of heart sent me numerous things almost every week. What exactly does Penn State send in the mail?
After you complete your Aleks assessment and your educational survey, they will send you a notice of your New Student Orientation date on a postcard. My daughters came about a week after she completed everything. But she’s a summer start so hers might have been sent out sooner. PSU doesn’t send a lot through the mail. We also got the linens brochure - other than her acceptance and her NSO information, everything else has been through e mail or the portal.
