<p>Is your specific rank number not significant as long as you're in top 1% or top 5 students?</p>

<p>I know valedictorian status would matter, but is there any difference between say, 2 and 3, or 3 and 4. or would admissions really not care as long as you're in that range and go on to other things.</p>
