Question about Regional Admission Officers

Hi everyone!

This is mostly directed toward current Stanford Undergraduate students, but any answers are welcome.

I just got a call from my Regional Admissions Officer, who congratulated me. She seemed really nice and told me she was the authority for any questions I had about Stanford.

I just wanted to know: assuming you choose to attend Stanford, exactly what role does your regional admission officer play from then on?

I mean, they're there to assist you in that last semester of high school, but do you ever see them again once you actually attend college at Stanford? Or do you get a new advisor, and the Regional Admissions officer just moves on to the next batch of applicants?

They are not your advisor. Basically they don’t anything except reading your application
