<p>ya people live in NYC on a lot less than 50 grand a year. the poverty line is what, like 14 grand a year? 50 is middle class. maybe you wont be living in the upper east side, but you'll be doing just fine.</p>

First of all, my dad don't work. My mom worked in a factory for 12-13k/yr for under minimum wage. Now she earns about 24k/yr, because she found a new job.</p>
