question about SCORE CHOICE

Hello everyone,

so I am high school junior who checked my may sat score few days ago…
I got 2280 on the test. I am pretty satisfied about it.
I have a question about the schools that DOES NOT accept the score choice system.

I got 1750 on last september. I was totally unprepared, and i took it, because I wanted to see where I am.
I had great jump throughout the year, because I worked really really hard.

At this point, I am wondering whether 1750 will affect negatively on my admission process or not.
I want to apply to several good schools that require the students to send all of the test scores whether they are good or not. Is that mean the student have one not good score and one good score can be rejected, because of one unsatisfiable score?
I am confused. I think that it is so unfair if that’s how the it works…

If not, is there anyone who got into good school even though his or her first test score was not good enough?
I need help!!! Thanks for reading this long posting.

Most of the most selective colleges will only look at the highest scores when determining admissions even if they require that all scores be sent. Check each college’s website for their policies.

I think that won’t hurt you at all since you increase a lot from your last test. You need to see if the schools require to send all the scores or just your best score. Congratulations for that impressive score!

Every college that requires all scores claims that it uses only the highest scores to determine admission.
