Question about Subject Tests

Hi everyone. Although I signed up for Math IIC and Chem this June, a lot of my friends have been telling me that Chem covers a lot of material from AP Chem and I am only in Honors Chem this year. Is this true?

In the meantime, I have decided to self-study and take the Physics Subject Test instead of Chem.

My question is, how do I indicate to colleges that I self-studied Physics? I will be taking AP Physics next year, but they would probably be confused as to why I took the test before even taking the class. Would this even matter?

*And also, will taking a subject 3 times affect how colleges see my scores, as opposed to taking it only 2 times?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think its possible to indicate that you self-studied physics.

the only way is if you reported a AP Physics score without taking the class before.
but it's implied.

If you don't know any physics at the moment, it may be wise to stick with chemistry. Despite the harsher curve, chemistry requires a lot less time to learn.
