Question about terms...

<p>Hi all, I'm a bit confused about the term Class of 2013, and the academic year 2008/2009. </p>

<p>Does it mean that if someone applies at January 1st, 2009, he will be at the Class of 2013, assuming that he will spend 4 years at the campus?</p>

<p>And what does it mean when an application mentions year 2008/2009? Does it mean that the application is for students applying at January 1st, 2009?</p>

<p>I know this is a very stupid question. I just can't help asking.Thanks in advance for any help! XD</p>

<p>The College Class of 2013 is made mostly of the high school graduating class of 2009, so in other words, those who will most likely reply until the 1st January 2009, though this depends on the school. The regular undergraduate will spend 4 years on campus. </p>

<p>2008/2009 stands for the academic year 2008/2009 during, therefore for anyone who applies until the schools deadline, which is, pretty often, the 1st of January 2009.</p>
