As in the case of admissions at ANY school, either the school would inform you, or they might have a personal acct. online for you to check on, if any pieces of your application were missing.....SAT scores, teacher recs, or in this case, repertoire list. However, one should NEVER assume the school will contact you to let you know if there are any missing pieces and whether or not your application is considered "complete". So, it behooves ALL applicants to check on whether all their materials have been received and whether their app is considered complete. UMich's requirements are no different in this regard.

Speaking hypothetically only, of course, the audition form contains the audition material request. The resume/repertoire list is a separate document. Both forms can be submitted separately in hard copy to the UMich School of Music, Theatre and Dance. (In fact, that is where they should be submitted). The audition form can be downloaded from any number of places but is contained in the UMich hard copy of the application. Hypothetically speaking, if it wasn't filled out originally, it could be filled out, and simply mailed in to the UMich school of music, which has a separate address from the regular admissions office. I believe the address is also on the form. I hope this helps hypothetically.

it's okay... i made this mistake too... i thought they were supposed to be brought to the audition but i spoke to a lady at the music admissions office and she had me fax them in.

Back to the vocal repertoire list, sine we have enver created one before, is there a specific format? Someone metioned that the composer is listed alphabetically. So the list is not chronological, but alphabetized?
My next question is does anybody know if you list all solos/featured solos that have been sung in MT shows, or are these vocal performances only?
My last question is do you include high school chorus work, and if so, how do you list chorus work, do you only choose the featured solos?
My D was in chorus, select, and varsity chorus, and a state chorus guild. These lists would be too voluminous to mention, I would think.

My son included solos from private lessons, MT work and significant solos from choral work, but left out solos that were only a few lines- from any context. He listed them alphabetically by composer.

There are explicit instructions on how to prepare the resume/repertoire list on the UMich website. I can't remember the link exactly -- it may have been with the application form itself, but you could also call the Music School Admisssions office and ask them for the link. I have found them to be very helpful.
