<p>Both exams have 2hours and 10 minutes for the free response questions right?
I know that the 15-minute reading period is mandatory and all candidates have to read without writting anything(except on the sketch paper?), but I am a bit confused about the 1hr and 55mins writing period.
Is it suggested or compulsory that students spend 45 minutes for the DBQ and 70 minutes for the two essays?
If I finished either the essays or the DBQ earlier than the suggested(compulsory?) time, can I spare the extra time for the other part?
I am betting that it is 1 hr and 55 minutes for the whole thing(DBQ & Essays) rahter than 45 minutes for DBQ and 70 minutes for the two essays, since the mandatory reading period allows us to read both the DBQ documents and the esaay questions, but I am not sure. Anyone helps?
Thank you.</p>

<p>"Time</p>

Of that allocated time you will have 55 minutes to fill out the multiple choice questions and 130 minutes to fill out the free-response section. The multiple choice section consist of 80 questions with 5 choices to choose from. The free-response section is divided into these following sections:</p>

115 minute - Essay writing. Which should be utilized in the fashion below.
45 minutes - Essay writing for the DBQ
