Question about top law schools

I believe that answers my question anyway. And I should have specified. I'm just wondering what people coming from the university I will be attending (The University of Michigan) have averaged on the LSAT so that I might have a general, very general, idea for myself.

Average is 158. <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=266240%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=266240</a></p>

Also, the general rule of thumb back in the day was SAT/20.7+100.7. That was back when it was out of 1600.

Obviously this will depend heavily on your own study regimen.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I have four years to prepare, which is quite a lot of time to take this seriously, but I'm pretty nervous. That method gives me a quite optimistic, but very rough, estimate. I had to convert my ACT score to the SAT standard and then use that method, but hopefully there's something to it. Still, I plan on preparing extensively to do whatever I can to improve my score.

that method was 5 points over-optimistic for me.

It was three under for me. It's clearly meant as rather a loose approximation.
