question about uc application

<p>under the scholarship section where you pick up to 16 items that apply to you....</p>

<p>is this used in admissions? if you mess up and pick something that may not apply to you does this matter for admissions or just actually receiving that scholarship?</p>

First family member to attend college
First-generation college student</p>

<p>any ideas?</p>

<p>so do you think I can leave it without the hassle of the UC calling it a "lie"?</p>

<p>just to be on the safe side, maybe you should call them. they do random checks.</p>
