<p>You can vote in the in the elections pertinent to your PERMANENT RESIDENCE. Ask someone smart to send you a ABSENTEE BALLOT. Fill out the ballot (to save time and effort be sure vote a straight DEMOCRATIC TICKET). Stamp and mail it.</p>

You basically register to vote in the new place. You can vote in the district of your school (by registering with that change of address) or you could vote from your original registration from your parents' house if you decide not to register with the new address.</p>

<p>I'm registered in Missouri still, since they still need my vote. Massachussetts will not need my vote, seing as it's the only state (plus the district) that voted for McGovern in 1972. Register wherever needs your vote (aka, a swing state, if you can)</p>
