For those that may have gone to penn, or have any experience with its admissions, could you provide me with some insight on how heavily your interested area of concentration affects your chances of admission? Though I understand you do not declare your concentration until your junior year, if you so happen to select one of 3 concentration areas of interest that do not necessarily correspond with your experiences/application would that potentially be a negative factor towards your chances at admission? Or, does Wharton simply not care what area of interest you select on the application but rather focus on whether you would be a good fit for Wharton as a whole?
In my particular case, I added Operations, Information, and Decisions which (while looking back at retrospect) may have not totally resonate well with my applicant profile; it is a primary concentration. On the other hand, I also marked dows Social Impact (which I feel more strongly reflects my interests/passions) however it is a secondary major, and I am unsure which ones admissions prioritize to match their students when making their decisions.
I know I may be coming across as nitpicky or nettlesome, but truly, any advice or feedback I could get from anyone would be greatly appreciated

Admissions officers are well aware of the fact that you can change concentrations once admitted. Unless perhaps one has a very long standing and demonstrated interest in a particular area, I don’t think it matters what you put.
