Ok so I’m very confused after doing multiple searches. My question is that if i apply and get accepted to UPenn, am I in the Wharton school of business? This may be an obvious question. Also how does this apply to all other schools? Like notre dame, if i got into the school am i into the business school?
When you apply to the University of Pennsylvania, you must choose one of its four schools (Wharton, CAS, Engineering, Nursing) or one of its coordinated dual degree programs. If you are accepted, you are accepted to whichever school or program you selected when you applied.
Thank you! Is it like this for all colleges, you have to choose what school or program you would like to be in when you apply?
Yes, for most colleges, you have to select a particular school or program that you wish to apply to.
Thank you so much.
Any chance you know anything about athletic recruiting? If I am recruited by UPenn… (is this possible with a 33 ACT, 4.0 GPA, typical public high school, pretty decent other EC’s on top of my sport)… is there any chance I would get accepted but not into a specific school?
Ivy League uses the “Academic Index” to evaluate prospective student athletes’ academics. There are plenty of articles that explain how it’s used in the process, so I will not explain it here.
All students, including recruited athletes, are admitted to one of the undergraduate schools or programs.
