I'm going into my Senior year in college. I'm an Art History major with a minor in Advertising. I'm planning on taking two Finance classes as electives.

I'm not sure what I want to do next. I know there aren't a lot of opportunities for Art History majors. I was thinking about taking the Teacher's exam so I could teach English. What I really want to do is go to grad school. Probably not for Art History, but to get my MBA.

Would an MBA work with an AH degree? What could I do with it? I ask because the few I know who have gone on to get their MBAs were already Business majors in their undergrads.

So... why are you an art history major if that's not what you want to do?

Probably for the MBA, the grad program would probably make you take some more business classes at the undergrad level before they actually admitted you to the program. You already have somewhat of a base with the advertising minor, but they'll probably want you to have some more upper-level courses before they let you in.

I've enjoyed majoring in Art History as an undergrad, but I want to do something different in graduate school.

The MBA programs I've looked into have said they would prefer if you have at least two years of work experience under your belt. I've worked in a doctor's office for two years, and I worked in a grocery store for two years.
