I'm wondering what all careers in business i could pursue with a major in art history and a minor in econ. I'm looking at corporate law, but not sure on it just yet. I'm also very good at english and speaking/writing. anyway, something like advertising or marketing? just wondering....wanting to keep my options open and not get bugged down with a useless major (if there is such a thing)
p.s. most of my top schools are LAC's if that matters.

all the leftover jobs after all the accounting, finance, economics, math graduates have all find their places.

so yes, namely marketing or human resources, the type of jobs that requires no knowledge whatsoever from your degree. You might also be in a disadvantage against sociology and some psychology major in terms of marketing, too.

it's harsh and good luck.

not sure if i agree with ur reply, but it does sound depressing lol

I went to a GS presentation at my school, and the guy there (I think VP) said that in the beginning, finance/business majors have a technical advantage, but after a while (training and some experience), the art history majors and the like catch up and there is no difference at that point.
