Question abt competitive top school candidates

we all no top skools get liek 18000+ apps a year but how many do you think are actually competitive?
i mean im sure theyre are ton of ppl out there (not on this board) that apply to harvard, yale, princeton, penn, etc. but have no chance at all really of gettin in, like maybe 10 ppl apply to princeton but most have no chance at all of making it cuz of low gpas and scores and nothin that wud set them apart

so i was thinkin how many much percentage of the applicatns to top skools actually are competitve ?

50-60%?

<p>How about all of them? There's no use in applying to a top tier school if your GPA and SATs are low and they spell like you do. :)</p>
