Question for 2400 scorers on 1st try: were you able to score 2400 on any of your CB practice tests? If so, then how many?

people only know name “2400” but after that 2400 are standing years of practice. Imagine how many practice tests did they do… I can’t say that I’m not good in SAT but my score is 1650; i made 10-15 practice tests; My math is good; Direct Hits+a lot of practice would enough for 2000.

^Not necessarily. There are some great people who ‘just walk into the test room and walk out with a great score’,lol.
One of my friends prepped for a week and got 2320 :)

I apologize that my answer is not the exact kind of response that you want, but here is my 2400 experience with one of the practice tests.
I got 2050 on my very first sitting.
And so far, I have one 2400 on October 2007 QAS.
I haven’t taken the real exam though; the real exam is what counts.

Are you immortal hero now?

^ What the hell are you talking about?

about your haughty manners

^ Please list any evidence of my arrogance. Please prove that I am arrogant.

gah…every your “smart” post is arrogance.

He’s not being arrogant at all, he answered your question.

You’re just aggravated that his SAT score is nearly 800 points higher than yours. He could’ve taken out a section and almost gotten your score.

So…one section=800?

^yes that was the implication.

Seriously? I didn’t know that; I thought each section would only be worth around 250-300 points.

And I’m not being sarcastic in any way, though it may seem like that. I really didn’t know that each section was worth that many points.

^He meant the 3 larger sections. Math, CR, and Writing. Not each smaller portion of the test you take.

@pi (if you understand my allusion)–

if you what you understood by what thelawn said as the “smaller portion of the test”, you are a dildo.

Anyway, go study hard

True

True

jeez, sulleyman, you are honestly really annoying and picking fights with people on CC is a genuine waste of your time. If you are actually interested in doing well on the SAT, then go study, or ask real questions.

I scored 2400 on the few tests that I took during the winter break before the January administration.

I scored a 2400 on 3 of the 5 practice tests I took but I don’t fall into the category of students you are addressing.

Op here. BenhPark, Silverturtle, and Jersey13 thanks so much for answering my question. Your response is helping me to figure out what to do with the upcoming Oct or Nov SAT1. Suleyman, please do not attack people on my thread. I am trying to seek out information in order to make a decision and your mean comments will discourage others from responding.
