Question for all other ED I applicants...

Have you received any e-mails or letters updating you on your application status? I'm applying from Romania, but am currently traveling around, was in Prague last week and am now in Budapest, so I am quite out of touch with my mail. I wanted to try and find out here if I should be expecting anything back at my address... Thanks in advance and best of luck to all of you!

Yeah......got a REED ID couple of days after I submitted my Commonapp online. Then, you go to REED's website, enter your ID and DOB and then check if the applications have arrived or not.........I just found out that all my applications are there....................Thanks and best of luck to you too...

Ah, thank you for your quick reply! If I may inquire further, did you receive your Reed ID through your e-mail or snail mail?

I received it through e-mail.....Who's your admission director or officer at REed? PM it to me......

Ah, I see! I did send my application back in July, so perhaps I may have been forgotten?

July ???? Isn't that a little tooooo early???????????????

I was leaving for Romania in early September (I'm doing a gap year abroad now, graduated from high school this past May). I knew I wouldn't have time to write applications when I was off digging on archaeology sites, so the only time I had for college applications was during the summer. I visited Reed in July and started sending off documents to the college around that time. However, I just checked my common application site and it says I sent off my online application in September, so I suppose I wasn't as early as I thought! :)

sometimes, if you look at the mail they send you, there is a six digit number that is often use as you id. it's either right above your name or to the right of it.

Thank you, britishkid. I e-mailed admissions the other day and they gave me all the needed info to check my status. Thank you for all your help, both of you. :)
