Has anyone here gotten an e-mail or any notification of their decision? Do they only e-mail international students? What about, ahem, high school graduates volunteering abroad currently? Do you think they might e-mail people like me too?

Sorry to sound so anxious but, well, I am, and I'm leaving this monday for a few weeks to see my cousins and family who live in Poland. So, be it good or bad news, I want to know!

Yeah, I got a mail saying they'll mail me and all the other international students within "evening local time". You can just send them an email asking for your decision. That's fine according to them.

Eep! I think they don't have my correct e-mail address.... I didn't get that e-mail and recently I just got my web Reed account number to check my status but only after I e-mailed them. I must have written down my old e-mail address on my application. Oy.

Well my mom wants to call (she's in New York) hopefully they won't mind?

I got a deferral, but the admission staff seems to like me, ha ha (so they said to my mom on the phone) Wish me luck, Reed is still my number one!

Does anyone know if Reed is sending acceptances by e-mail this year as they did last year?

On a slightly different note, I received a Reed College Catalog for 2006-2007 several days ago. Does this mean anything? By the way, I applied ED II.

Wow! I finally received the acceptance e-mail that I thought would never come.

Bezdomny, I don't know your exact situation, but I think when Reed says they like you they don't mean it lightly. I definitely would not have gotten in if they only looked at my stats. So don't lose hope.

I don't have a facebook account, but I suppose it would be a good idea to get to know some people before even setting foot on Reed. How do I join the group?

Thanks, Incubator. My problem is that my numbers are very low for Reed (I wasn't the biggest fan of High School and my grades for 9th and 10th grade definitely show that...) Sigh.
