Question for Alumni Interviewers

I have two questions for those who conduct interviews for perspective students.

1) At what point do you find out who got in/who did not get into Yale? Do you get a rolling list as they make decisions, or do you find out all the decisions at the same time?

2) Are you allowed to communicate with students after they are rejected? Someone on the Stanford thread posted that once a student is rejected the alumni is no longer allowed to stay in contact with the student. Is this true for Yale as well?

Alumni interviewers find out the results 2 days after they are released to applicants. There is no explicit rule forbidding alumni interviewers from contacting rejected applicants, but it would be a very odd thing to do.

Interviewers are not given a list of accepts/rejects/defers/waitlisted ppl. They are given notice ONLY for those they personally interviewed – 2-3 days later like AA said.

^^ I will only get results for those applicants I interviewed. We are encouraged to call and congratulate those that have been admitted.
