<p>I have a question for any Barnard alumni who attended in or around 1985 and lived on campus. </p>
<p>What were the dorm policies like? How stringent was their visitation policy? At night? And for overnight guests?</p>

<p>I graduated in 1984. There were no visitation policies. Guys had to show CU ID to get in. There were lots of guys around, including at night Back then, the m/f ratio was 2 to 1 because CC had just gone coed. There were no triples in dorms. After freshman year, no one lived in a double, so there was more privacy. The norm, though, was long term boyfriends/girlfriends.</p>
