Question for Berkeley (Econ) students

I got admitted as a transfer to UCLA bizecon and UCB econ, is it hard finding a decent job right after graduation for a berkeley econ student?

<a href="http://career.berkeley.edu/Major/Econ.stm%5B/url%5D">http://career.berkeley.edu/Major/Econ.stm</a></p>

Not really, relative to other majors. The starting salary is around 45,000 per year whereas for Berkeley's Haas graduates, it's 50K. Relative to most other majors at Berkeley, it's pretty easy to find a job.

Thanks for the replies. I know about the career link, but it also shows that only around 60-70% of students get a job after school. I know this is, because some students have different plans.

Would I have similar opportunities with a Berkeley econ degree as with a UCLA biz econ one?

anyone? would a biz econ be more beneficial to get a job right out of college?
