My DD is looking into Fordham and is very confused as to which college to apply too. She will declare undecided for her major but she is leaning toward foreign language, social science and and interest in theater (recreationally.) Classes for these seem to be mainly at Lincoln Center. However she is drawn to Rose Hill because of the atmosphere. She really wants to get involved in student clubs and activities. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated since we want to get the application in by the end of this week.

Everything you mention is available at Rose Hill (main) campus. But you might check on theatre stuff to be sure. Some more obscure languages are only taught at Lincoln Center as are some area studies, such as arabic and middle eastern studies. But there is ample transportation back and forth between campuses with the RamVan. People at both campuses are enthusiastic about being there. But Rose Hill is a more traditional campus feel and offers all the sports. But theatre/drama majors typically much prefer Lincoln Center/Manhattan.

Even if your daughter picks an obscure major later, that can be arranged to take classes at Lincoln Center and live at Rose Hill.

Lincoln Center is not bad at all, i went there actually to see and i probably prefer it over rosehill just because i get a feeling the class sizes are much much smaller. But for theater i think LC is good, however if your D is planning to dorm, its harder to get housing there as oppose to RH

Freshman class sizes at Rose Hill tend to be anywhere from 15-25 and periodically like Psychology 101 about 50 kids. That sure beats the heck out of 600 which it is a prestigious state school I am thinking of.
