Question for parents

<p>I am applying to transfer to a college and have to write an essay on how transferring to that particular college would further my academic interests. In a previous essay for that college, I had to write an essay on my intended major there.</p>

<p>So I was wondering, how should I approach this question? Basically what do they mean by "further my academic interests" (as I have already spoken about my intended major)?</p>

<p>I would take it as an opportunity to explain what I hoped to learn/achieve at the transfer school that may not be so readily available or doable at the current school.</p>
