If i am going to get barrons 2400, does it repeat the strategies in barrons sat prep 1, cr and math wkbk? what do the math, cr and sat prep book offer different from 2400?

I plan to buy Barrons 2400....and was thinking about picking up their cr and math wkbk....

The 2400 book is a must, it covers everything you need to know to ramp up those 700s.

Out of all the workbooks, Math is the most needed, then CR, then writing.

Math- It has the best overall review + lessons
Cr- it has hundreds of SCs, the passages are said to be nonSAT like
Writing-The 2400 has most of whats in this book

I would get the 2400, its thorough but concise

If your looking to spend less, just the 2400 will do. It really covers everything, the workbooks are just that, practice, but made by barron's so,... the techniques are all in the 2400, the practice, in the workbooksd

Only use the official sat study guide published by CC for practice questions. I am sure that every old member around here will agree with me. As for the Barron's question, although I have not yet gone through the books completely, I own the both the 2400 and the "main book" (cant' remember what it is called right now). I would say if you are wanting to save money that you buy all your books from amazon, or other dependable online stores. But if you rly want to save money, buy only the 2400. If you dont mind dishing out the extra 20-30 dollars, buy both the main book and the 2400. The 2400 imo is a necessity because it provides the strategies used to get 700+. I find that the 2400 has a medium amount of supplement information regarding Barron's strategies and is more thorough. As for the workbooks, I have never owned them, but if they offer many practice questions, they are not worth it. As I said earlier, only the official CC questions are good.
