So, as for the partying scene in SC, basically let's say you want to party in a particular frat house. If you are not a member of that house, or if you don't know someone personlly in that house, you can't get in. So I was wondering, for guys who are in a frat, do you usually party in your own house or do you get some kind of leverage partying in the row in general. I guess what I'm asking is that is there a special connection among the greek community or is each house sort of isolated from one another?

For the most part you party at your own house and honestly, if your in a good house its usually way more fun than partying at other houses. My roommate and I go to each others parties, since were both actives we can get each other in, but knowing all the guys makes it way less awkward. It can be really intimidating being in a house where you only know a couple of the guys - luckily all guys in top fraternities know the same girls, so no matter what party your at you’ll know at least 50% of the people there.

Going through pledging, developing brotherhood, etc. makes partying in your own house all the more fun. However on nights where we both want to go out but there may not be a party at one of our houses well take each other. However, generally you stick to your own house.

Agreed. Most houses don’t allow many guys in beyond their own brothers, so it isn’t really as fun to hang out in a house where you only know a few of the guys. Most guys in fraternities choose to stick to their own house.
