Question for those with Received Decision?

Hello! I have recently joined the United States from another nation. I am recently deferred from Princeton. This is a sad day for me. My family is having very superstitious values. I wore a sweatshirt reading, Princeton to school this morning. It was black with a head covering, and a white picture. Also an orange tiger. I have a question to give to all, even if you were rejected or accepted. Did you wear a clothing of the school? I want to know if this gives bad luck. Thank you cc!

So you're asking if Princeton decided to defer you today after you put on the sweatshirt? I think they made their decision before you put on the sweatshirt. Just a guess.

LOL***? Acceptance is not built upon whether you wore the school's shirt or not. Most retarded thread I've seen.

I'm a little disappointed in the rude responses to this thread...

It depends on if you believe in luck, WantAcceptance. I don't personally, but I do believe in God who will send you where you need to be according to His will, which may not be Princeton. Maybe you can make more of a difference elsewhere, which is why you were deferred. :)

By the way, welcome to the States! What is your home country?

sounds like an old superstition Indian parents still have; keyword being superstition

what you're thinking is mostly a defense mechanism for why you got deferred; instead of justifying it, accept the deferral and try to figure out what part of your app is weak and why you got deferred and try to improve that in your other apps...

Sorry Pantoofle, but I've been up for more than 72 hrs and stupid **** ****es me off. Sorry for not coddling him and giving him false assurance that it was all the shirt's fault.

This message is going to Pantoofle. You replied about God's will. Do you think there is a way for changing this will to include Princeton? I would like much success to be accepted months later.
