Alright so I started working on the Brown App. On Form 1A, where you would list your SAT scores, it only gives 5 spaces for scores. It says to list CR M and W separately. With three SAT II’s taken, can I only list 2/3 and my 3 best SAT scores? I am retaking in Oct. and Nov. and expecting better scores. Should I just let it be for now and fill in my better scores, and is there another way to handle this?

whatever your highest scores are... i remember my guidance counselor told me not to worry cause as long as they see "good" scores there, it'll be fine - but what really matters is the score report that is sent from college board (and i would make sure if you're applying ED to do that ASAP because I had to rush my scores to Brown)

Yeah the problem is that I am not satisfied with my April test scores at all because Ik I'm capable of at least 100 pts more. (Great idea not to study) I want to get my app in early but I won't have new test scores til the end of October, right before the deadline.

I thought about that too, but I think it says to write each section score separately. Alvy, I'm in the same exact situation as you are; I'm not satisfied with my April score but won't know my October score in time...

illinois kid, I think so. I don't think you need 4B if you aren't doing Bachelor of Science, but I heard that you're allowed to submit multiple 4As if you want to. I would check with admissions before you do anything, though.

For Form 3, question 4, where you list ECs, is there any recommended format (like activity - honors/leadership - hours) for listing ECs, do you write it in paragraph form and describe each activity with a sentence or two, or does it not matter?

From what I understand, 4A is for your 1st rec. and 4B is for the second. However, if you plan on Sc. B. or PLME the second recommendation SHOULD be completed by a math or science teacher.

You may want to call the Admissions Office at Brown and ask them your questions. There is nothing wrong with that, and I believe they always have a person on call to answer questions just like this. You do not have to give your name if you don't want. Even if you do, they will not make some negative mark somewhere that you called for verification. Good luck.
