question on csu application

I have started filling out my application and I ahve a question on the gpa part that I have to self report. So it says to “Enter your high school GPA for all approved college prep “a-g” courses taken in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.”. Do I just calculate my GPA for 10th and 11th grade since I am still a senior in high school or do I have to add my 9th grade too? Please resond ASAP I intend to finish atleast one of the applications tonight. Thank you

I believe they want your UC/ CSU GPA, so just include 10th/11th (that’s what I did at least). I don’t think it’ll make much difference though, because the office should calculate your UC/ CSU GPA on their own when reviewing your app, so don’t stress out about it.

Use the CSU GPA calculator and enter in the #A’s, B’s, C’s etc from the a-g courses in 10-11th grade since you have not finished 12th yet. 9th grades are not used in the GPA calculation but are self-reported on your application to make sure you meet the a-g course requirements. Here is the link to the CSU GPA calculator. If in-state, you get 1 honors point for each semester of a UC approved Honors, AP or IB class taken 10-11th grade. If unsure the class is UC approved, use the 2nd link to look up your HS for approved courses:
