I am filling out several CSU applications and I need to figure out my GPA. There is a GPA calculator on the CSU website and it says to count the number of A's, B's, C's, etc you have for courses completed after 9th grade. If I am in 12th grade right now, do I put in my quarter grades for 12th grade or do I not use 12th grade grades?

I have the same question! If you figured it out can you please let me know?

I think it’s pretty clear:

If your school is on a semester system (2 final grades per year per class) then you only enter the semester grades, not quarter grades . So for Sr. year, you would not yet have any grades to enter. It helps if u can get a copy of your official transcript from your school instead of using Zangle or whatever ur school uses. Also be sure to use the approved list of a-g classes ( google UC approved a-g courses- Cal States uses the same list as Uc’s). Even though some of your classes may have “honors” in the title, they may still not be designated as honors classes on the a-g list.
