Question on Intended Major of Biomedical Engineering

I was wondering, how tough is it to get into the BME program at Johns Hopkins University? I will be applying next year, early decision, and was wondering how hard admissions will be and how the program is in general. Also, if anyone knows of the BME programs at California's Institute of Technology and MIT, could you tell me how the BME program in that school is.

Thanks in Advance

BME is very competitive. And our BME is better than any other school's (good luck finding any publication that disagrees).

As far as i know, CalTech does not offer BME. At the undergraduate level, MIT is considered top 5. But Hopkins is unequivocally number one, and Duke is usually number two at the undergraduate BME level.

CalTech has bioengineering.

From the CalTech website: "Currently there is no undergraduate concentration in Bioengineering."

Bioengineering :: Admissions

That's to what I was referring.
