Question on SAT Subject Test Requirements (Need Help)

Hey Guys,

I just had a brief question I wanted to ask and it would be great if those who have been through the college application process or know a lot about it could please offer me some insight.

I am applying to numerous schools, counting Ivy-Level schools as well, and I had a question about sat subject test requirements. I am aware that all Ivies require only up to 2 sat subject scores. I am planning to major in the Arts and Sciences (Sociology) major and currently possess 3 sat subject scores: 800 Math Level II, 800 Chemistry, and 730 US History.

My question is on the 730 USH score. I am definitely sending in the math and chemistry scores, but I am not sure if I should report my US History score, as in if its good enough or if it will hurt me. Considering Ivies, should I report this 3rd score, or would it benefit me to not report it? On another side, wouldn't colleges want me to report a score from the humanities section, since that's where I'm trying to major in? Or does that not matter..What should I do?

Any ideas? Please help enlighten me! Thanks!

Report them all. 730 is fine.

730 is fine for SAT subject tests (even the most elite schools are not going to look poorly on anything over 700).
Also, bear in mind that some Ivy-level schools do require you to report ALL of your scores of all tests you’ve taken, so you wouldn’t want to get caught disobeying their policies.

thanks a lot guys, I think I’ll report them all now!

hay i’m zain will plz anybody will tell me that cannadian, australian,uk, usa and singapore universities require SAT i’m doing alevels in lahore, pakistan. thankyou

i’m planing on doing Architecture… plzzzzzzzz will some help me…

I know nothing about Australian and UK schools.

American, Canadian, and Singaporean schools, it is very much required to take 2 SAT II’s, but highly recommended to take 3.
If you’re looking into architecture, you should definitely take the Physics exam.

Best of luck!
