Question on transfer to Michigan State University

Hi everyone, I am sophomore from a community college. And I applied for MSU on November 15th and finished updating my academic record for 62 credits. But now I found out that I didn’t report my ESL classes because those are just not transferred to MSU. Thus, I am wondering if I might be accused of misreporting transcript or not. I am pretty worried right now. Can anyone who has some experience help me out? Thank you, guys.

I wouldn’t worry about that discrepancy. It’s not as if you tried to alter your submitted transcript. In the other part of the app, you simply added the relevant transferrable credits. If you’d taken a cooking class for fun, for instance – and it appeared on your transcript – do you think MSU would dock you for not listing it on the transfer application? No way. Good luck to you.

You’re fine. They will look at the transcript and evaluate your classes.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your response. That really makes sense
