i was planning on applying early to hopkins, but after my june physics score, i decided to retake the test opn november, 3. however, is there any way i can still apply early even though i am taking my final test in november? i figured i'd get my score about a week after the nov 15 deadline, so can i turn in the rest of my app and then rush the physics score when it comes out?

"A Note on Standardized Test Dates
Hopkins strongly recommends that Early Decision (ED) candidates complete their required standardized tests no later than October of their senior year. Regular Decision (RD) candidates should complete the required tests no later than December of their senior year.

Although we cannot guarantee that November (ED) or January (RD) scores will arrive before the Admissions Committee evaluation, past experience suggests that scores taken on these dates usually arrive in time.

November (ED) or January (RD) scores will be accepted for those students unable to meet their test requirements by October (ED) or December (RD). In such cases, we encourage you to note your intention of taking the later standardized test(s) on your application. There is no need to rush your scores."

Thankyou for asking this question. I was wondering the same thing last night.

I am retaking my SAT I on the October date, to boost my critical reading score, since I feel it is not within the 50% middle range that collegeboard.com says.

So, because of this, I have to take all my SAT IIs on the November date: Math Level 2, Biology w/ Molecular questions, and Physics.

When I send in my Early Admission application, I will include a note with what I have just stated.
