More specifically, I've sent out transcripts, that don't specify what class I'm taking now, or that I'm graduating this year.

My school requires 22 credits to graduate. The ones sent had 17. I'll have 3 more with regular schooling, and 2 more with online classes. The colleges don't care much about credit numbers overall, but they do want 4 English (I have 2.5 completed), 3 Science (2.5), and some other junk that I'm behind in but should catch up to by May07.

So..when an admissions officer sees my weird transcript, what will they do? Contact my school to see what's up? Throw my app away?

You mean when you say you sent out transcripts that your counselor sent them out, correct? Most of the info you refer to is included in the counselor report that should be sent with the transcripts.

No.. At my school, the school has these envelopes, enclosed with a single sheet that looks like all the other transcripts we get, except it has one of those 3D engraving ink stamp things.. And it's sealed with a sticker (to close the envelope) that says invalid if opened, this is a real transcript. How would I know what's in them? I opened one, since I bought 4:D

The transcripts are at 2/2 schools I've applied to, SAT scores gotten to 1/2 schools.. Now that they are able to review my app..wondering what they'll do with funky transcript..

you need to make sure that the colleges you are applying to will give you "credit" for the classes you took online. your high school may let you use them towards graduation, but many highly selective schools don't really look at them as core classes.

I've been meaning to call the colleges.. Been busy, going home when their offices are almost out.. I'll get to it on Monday (kids off). Georgia State University doesn't look too selective and I'd bet that Kennesaw State wouldn't give a damn.

So AdOfficer, if you received my empty transcript, what would you do?

We would probably evaluate your application based on the courses you took at your high school only. We'd seek clarification as to why it is "empty" but in general, we'd only look at the grades for courses you took at your school.

Woo. So someone at GSU called me today and they said they also called my counselor. My app is now "in process".. They want me to send a new transcript with a grade of "incomplete" for current classes since my other one only had completed grades.. And I won't be able to (most likely) be accepted until May (2 months after housing apps start).

Woo. So 6 days after they got SAT scores and able to process and then questioned my transcript and then my counselor cleared stuff up..I'm now accepted:D
