I am considering standby for tomorrow because I took Oct. Test.
I have questions
1. If I cancel my score in this test after (i am doing standby) will it be reported to colleges?
Please help me with this quesiton. I am really considering taking the test. Thanks!

If you cancel, the colleges shouldn't see it. (was that quick enough?)

yes lol but I am doing standby.
Also will my scores make it on time to colleges if I do standby?

ALL test taker scores are released at the same time, how you register isn't a factor.

And so If I do cancel it will NOT show up on the score list which i send to otehr colleges??

Standby boosts scores.

Without Standby - 1860

With Standby - 2170

Friend sucks at History

With Standby - History - 730

CollegeBoard likes risk takers and rewards you by doing standby

Also if I do standby what do i bring there to begin? Do i need my credit card or anything?

stupid question: what is standby?:D

Unregistered. Show up, pay, test.

Wait I pay on the spot..?

That is correct

but you have to have a registration and check in a envelope. so you have to have it all ready by tomorrow.

Standby testing fee $36.50

Wait what.... how do i have a registration. I never registered.. do i register on the spot and pay on the spot then? Because you guys are telling me I register but I never could..

you have to have the form from a guidance counselor. I tired this same thing in june and couldn't find the form anywhere (I searched online for a couple hours).

Go early and likely you can fill out the form on site.

Note: College Board is eager for your $$$$$

So if I don't have it then... i can't do standby....? Man.. last year in october I did standby and I didn't have any money or form. This sucks..

they won't necessarily have a copy of it though....
just study hard for a month and take december.

You must be kidding. The availability of the form may be site related but when I tested....forms were abundant.

It might help to know what kind of testing location you are considering. Urban areas and areas near boarding schools will plan for standbys.

So do I need a credit card?
