I'm kind of confused about the application process, i'm going to be applying in the fall and I can't figure out something. Most websites say freshman apply to the Trinity School, or Pratt, but what if I dont want to go to either of those schools. I wan't to double major in Communications and Marketing, so what do I do?!? Please help, thanks!

Are you joking or serious? I honestly can’t tell. You can’t enroll in another school because there are no other undergrad schools at Duke. Trinity and Pratt are the only two choices. You also want to double major in two fields that Duke doesn’t offer. There is a markets and management certificate, but not a separate major. There is no communications major. I’d suggest re-thinking Duke as your dream school if those are the two majors you truly want to be in. Although those two majors are pretty generic so you can certainly be prepared for those types of careers with a different field of study. You can create your own major under Program II in Trinity if you want as well.

Okay, no need to be a prick… maybe saying “dream school” was a bad choice of words. I only started looking I to Duke this past week and by what Ive seen its my top choice school right now. And when I look online there are many other schools that I saw, like the Fouqa School of Bussiness, and maybe that was just graduate schools…

^ First of all, It’s the ‘Fuqua School of Business’. And yes, it’s a graduate school, so your desired field of study, namely Marketing, is unfortunately not offered at the undergraduate level.
