Question...

hey guys,

i recently received my evaluation/recomendation letter for the Columbia Summer school. i was very surprised that i got a very positive evaluation and said i was one of the best in the class. will this help in columbia admissions at all? btw, its not like i am considering this a hook or a major achievement, but will an admissions officer take into consideration that a person who attended the summer program, who did well, and who is interested in Columbia College may be a good candidate?

thanks in advance!

"Are my chances for admission greater if I attend a summer program or program for high school students on the Columbia campus?

Not necessarily. Although we recommend that all applicants spend some time on campus before applying, applicants who have attended a program on the Columbia campus are not given automatic preference in the admissions process."
