Questions about admissions process

Hi,

I'm currently an undergraduate senior double majoring in math and finance at a top undergraduate business school. I've just realized that law school is probably the best fit for me in terms of post-graduation plans, although this realization has come a bit late since I won't be able to take LSATs until February, so I won't be able to apply this year. My plan right now is to find a temporary job or even travel abroad for 1-2 years, and then attend law school. Can someone give me some guidance and insight into the application process and what schools I should be looking at?

Here are my statistics:

GPA: 3.3

LSAT: I scored 173 on first try on practice test so assuming I do some studying I can maybe hit 175+

EC: this is another one of my weaknesses besides my GPA, I really didn't do much outside of class other than play poker. I held some accounting/finance/programming jobs during school years and over summers but wasn't really active in any clubs.

Also, I'm an asian male if that matters.

Thanks for any advice people can offer me.

Go to [LSAC.org Homepage](http://www.lsac.org). Read about the process there. There’s also a place where you can search by UGPA and LSAT and see what your odds of admission would have been had you applied in the last admissions cycle.
