questions about admissions to caltech

Hi everyone:
I am interesting of applying for Mathematics graduate program in CalTech.
I am now a student in Cal State LA getting B.A. degree for Math, I transfered from Pasadena City College to CSULA about three years ago. My questions are:
1) Do I have to have B.S. degree to apply for the Mathematics graduate program in CalTech?
2) Do I also need to send my transcripts from Pasadena City College along with my application?
3) I have a overall GPA(cumulative GPA of PCC and CSULA) of 3.24 and CSULA GPA(or Upper-division GPA) of 3.82 and I know that in order to get into graduate schools in Caltech I should at least have a GPA of 3.5. So, which of the above GPA does Caltech
look at? If Caltech look at both then how do they evaluate?

Can someone please help me?
Thank you.

1) People typically apply in their senior year, so you don’t need a B.S. degree at the time you apply.
2) You probably need to send all transcripts, including city college.
3) What is your math GPA? That probably is the most important.

GPA requirements are more stringent for theoretical disciplines. Caltech’s math graduate students were most probably in the 3.9-4.0 range, but feel free to apply.
I am not a mathematician, but the best people to ask what are realistic schools are probably your professors.
