Questions about applications

Hello, I am a michigan resident who is going to apply at
University of Michigan Ann Arbor
Michigan State University
Lawrence Tech
Michigan Tech
and Maybe Kettering

I know that Tech and Kettering are both geared toward engineering and do not need a special application for engineering.

I do not know about lawrence, but I know that U of M does and MSU most likely has a separate application for Engineering.

So my question is if I should use the general application for MSU to try to get into the engineering program or if there is a special application I need to fill out? I know this is specific but the answer may be obvious.

Sorry for the simple question.

Just call MSU. I think you don’t need to, though don’t take my word. I have reached my conclusion after visiting the engineering college application:

DO NOT complete this application if you are:

A freshmen or sophomore of any major and you will not have attained 56 or more credits at the end of this semester.
Freshmen and sophomores are free to change their major at any time. Simply visit the appropriate UUD Office to change your major.
A student of any major or class and you wish to complete a second degree in engineering. Please see the appropriate academic advisor of the second-degree major.

I applied to Michigan tech while waiting for a response. That application was extremely easy.
