Hello everyone! I’ve got a few questions regarding being a chemistry major at UNC, if you guys don’t mind me asking. I’ve looked far and wide for specific answers and hope that by asking here I will be able to obtain some great and valuable insights on this matter!
- Are the professors passionate in teaching or do they treat undergraduate teaching as a distraction from their research?
- Being in the Research Triangle Park, was it easy for you to secure an internship?
- How is the material being taught by the professors? Is it just reading through slides or having students engage in discussions etc.?
- Is it easy to be involved in research?
Your answers will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much!
