Say if someone was taking Biology M, would they still have to study some of Biology E, because there still might be some ecology in the test "body"?

I also need to know if knowing all the kingdom, phylum stuff is important. In my test prep book they have about three pages full of text about it and I want to know if memorizing it all is even worth it (judging from the practice tests they'll probably only have 2-3 questions on it at max).

Thanks for any help!

Yes, you should study the whole prep book because some topics overlap. Plus, there is SO much info in bio that they could test you on anything, so the more you know, the better. You also have to know kingdom, phylum, etc. Just remember King Philip Came Over For Good Soup.

The classification stuff is important. On my test it asked something like, which would have species with more similar DNA:

Class
Order
Phylum
etc.

Everything in your standard review book (barrons, pr, etc.) is potentially important I would say.

Also it is

King Phillip Crossed Over France Getting Sniped

You're welcome! lol @ Optimus, no its not!

Kinky People Can Often Find Good Sex

The trouble with that one is you might mix up Can and Often.

I made the mistake of skipping over the disease section in the barron's book because it wasn't in our text or in pr. Everything could be on the test.
