<p>My D and I are going to visit Michigan over spring break. There is an information session and walking tour at the Student Activities Building on the corner of Maynard and Jefferson from 10 until 12:30. We then have an engineering tour at the Lurie Engineering Center at 1:30. They told us that we should eat at Pierpoint Commons before the engineering tour. </p>

<p>My question, the engineering tour told us to park on North Campus. Could we park at the Student Activities Building and walk over to North Campus? How far of a walk is it? I hate to park in one place and then move my car if it's not that far and we can walk.</p>

<p>You will have to drive. The SAB is on central campus, and it is about a 10 minute drive to North Campus. That would mean about a 30-35 minute walk, in freezing weather no less.</p>

<p>it's quite a walk actually. i would use the university bus system--they come every ten minutes and pick up right at pierpoint.</p>
