Questions about dorms from a transfer student (Class of 2015)

Hi, I'm a female transfer student in the class of 2015, and I just got into Tulane for fall 2013 a few weeks ago (yay!). The info on dorms for juniors and seniors seems a little mixed, so I was wondering if someone could help me out here. When I accepted my enrollment I was given a list of dorms, but some of them I was pretty sure were freshman only or sophomore housing. I'm not sure if they care about those classifications for transfers- they might just stick us anywhere there's room (or nowhere, I'm aware - I'm actually getting an apartment in NOLA for this semester and the summer anyways so I'd have no issues with extending that lease if I don't get housing, no biggie.) Anyways, ideally I would like to live somewhere co-ed (aka not Josephine Louise; I just came from a women's college and a girl's boarding school, haha) that has some kind of dorm community. At my previous college I literally had no idea who was living next to me, let alone on my hall. It was quiet and had no dorm life whatsoever. I would love to get to know people! Noise isn't an issue. I am a very active girl with many interests, and I'd just really like to live somewhere lively but not dingy, if possible. Thanks for any help you guys can give me!
