Questions About Financial Aid package

I got my FA pck two days ago and the total amount of it is 18,600 yer year, including 16,600 grant and 2,000 employment. But my FC is about 28,000 and the expected expenses of attending RHODES is 49,000, it is a little difficult for my family to make RHODES afforable. Is there any way to arise my FA pck?? Sould I send E-mail to FA??

You may want to contact the office by calling them first and asking how their appeal process works.

They may give you more money, but keep in mind an appeal does not guarantee that.

Last year, with another school, I appealed and they offered me $3000 more, but I was unfortunately unable to attend.

I am now looking at Rhodes as a transfer. Hope we both get to attend!

Congratulations on getting in and on getting a 16.6k grant. It sounds like it may still be a stretch for your family, but even just getting that package is a huge accomplishment, and you should be proud!

That said, definitely call - it can’t hurt to ask. Best thing to do would probably be get in touch with your admissions counselor who can help you through that process. Like paradox3 said, there’s no guarantee at all that you’ll get more money, but you’ve got no downside to appealing.

Hope we see both of you in the fall!
