is that a PAIN in the arse for a teacher to have to fill out a recommendation for FOUR COLLEGES? or, is that just something that everyone here has to deal with?

the mid-year report… this is only sent after the application right? and if it is EARLY DECISION, then we send it after we get accepted obviously right?
<p>1) Most teachers only write one recommendation then simply change the name of the college. If your rec writer is amazing, he/she may change a few phrases to tailor it to each college. It's not like they're writing 4 separate and different recs. Or if you're referring to the check-list, it's not a big I don't think. You simply just check the same boxes over again.</p>
<p>2) Only sent after you have sent your application. With ED, it depends on your high school because when you are granted admission in December by ED, your midyear grades might not be available yet. (My final grade is determined at the end of January.) So whenever the grades become available is when you send them.</p>
